I'm sorry to say...

... that this was inredibly meh, for me. Yes, you got a bunch of authors together and made some epic project or whatever. Yes Osuka's monster was very neat. Yes NathanielMilburn's part was fantastic.

No to everything else though. Some very emo song with a bunch of slightly less than passably animated anime characters prancing about in what I hope was at least a metaphor for some inner battle, but was probably just a big ol' sword fight with some shadow mirror monster.

Blargh says I. Not my tastes. At least it wasn't a tweenfest though. So kudos for trying out FBF, just get good at it now I guess. Also, why on earth would you chose a song where the singer's voice was so whiny and the lyrics and music were so repetetive?

Oh well, I won't dock you for the music choice. You will get slammed for the visuals though.

I hope to God this gets...

...front page. That places needs to have some quality on it. Boy, how I love Mouse on Mars. I didn't know anyone else was insane enough to listen to it, let alone make a badass flash set to it. This is truly fantastic. I do wish it was less tweeny, but I'll take what I can get.

Nice stuff, keep going. I've been a fan for ages, and then a bit longer.

HeRetiK responds:

Hooray, another Mouse on Mars fan! :)

Know what would be lovely?

If you made something original! You're pretty decent with the art and animation. But this didn't amyse me, and you used someone else's characters.

I would love to see you make a move towards something original and fresh with your work.

To me, despite the fine production values, the whole thing feels lazy because you didn't go ahead an make a strong, or funny, story with nice characters.

And no, I don't Zelda. I actually love Zelda.

I used to think this was funny...

... not so much any more though. I feel like you've run out of ideas and also, you stuff all desperately needs a redesign. I feel like you're scraping the bottom of the concept barrell at this point. Which is understandable I guess after all these years.

But seriously, I'd love to see this thing survive cuz I used to be a big fan, and I still love Squirell Songs. They're great songs. But if I'm gunna keep watching these, would it be alot to ask if you could freashen things up just a bit.

New designs, maybe ask around and get some ideas and stuff. Friends and whatnot, look around because I think you're brain need a break if it's gunna produce any more great ideas.

If that's too hard, maybe you can move on and try out a new series, or movie. That could prove interesting.

I guess what I'm saying is I'd like to see you go out and just challenge yourself. Push your limits. It's not cool to coast along on the basic ideas. Try out something that's not in your comfort zone.

I give you a couple points for at least taking the minimal effort to make this though.

I hope to God you were being sarcastic.

This was boring and not funny, so I voted 0, I'll get that out of the way. Maybe I'm no high intellect like yourself. Your IQ obviously has to be in the 180s or something, because I'm gifted and I'm not above stuff like Egoraptor, so you need to be really high I guess.

Anyway, you make Pheonix Wrong, which is funny, but requires even LESS skill than the Awesome movies, so I'm assuming there were nuggets of sarcasm hidden in your statement.

So yes, if you were serious, your either a complete genius who should compete against that Japanese guy on lost for world smartness supremecy, or you're a regular pissed off moron who can't take that he isn't smart enough to know what'll sell so he attacks the competetion like a 2nd grade school boy bitch.

Seriously, please tell me you were being sarcastic. PLEASE.

AshfordPride responds:

I HAVE A BRAIN THE SIZE OF A PLANET AND SKILLS LIKENED WITH JESUS HIMSELF.

Yeah, it was sarcasm. I love the awesome series. I'm just trollin', I guess.

I think IceDragon took this way too seriously.

Thats all I have to say. Oh, and this was funnier than I was expecting. Nice job... though I wish the animation was mor dynamic. But it still got the job done.

This was awesome.

Some of the animation was liquidy and fidgety and looked rotoscoped, but over all this was awesome. I love the transformation bit so much.

This was a treat.

It's rare that we get to see experimental animation on NewGrounds with such vision. I really got into this one alot. The sounds, the glows, the collaging. It all turned out so pleasing I can't find a single thing wrong with it.

I just hope other people who might not get the message don't complain about it being confusing or something.

Fierras responds:

I was doubting about submiting emulation to newgrounds but all the positive responses washed them away. Tnx :)

A tip...

... don't mention it's your first Flash and don't say things like "please don't be cruel." I don't know why, but that stuff rarely goes over well.

It was strange and it looks like it was a video from some other software imported into flash. The graphics were ok I guess, but the animation was pretty bland and lackluster. You get massive bonus points for throwing in a clown, however, and that song grated on my nerves, which I appreciate. So I'm giving you a passing score.

I too love this song.

Thats a huge part of why I voted for it to stay. It was a decent video, but it was rather bland, and the animation was very limited. I'd much rather see you get really experimental with your art. Leave you comfort zone. Only then will you find your real style.
