Hey there Connor Flemming.

This was quite awesome, I have to say. I really enjoyed it. Like the rest of your work it had such a simple elegance and the timing was perfect. Great pace.

Looking forward to more from you, haha. Been I while since I even acknowledged your existence, and I was talking to Luis and I remembered you were friends with him, long story short I just watched all your movies.

Fives all around!

Thanks Ryan!

I'm sorry to say it, but it was pretty bad.

I'm not even going to address the idea, because when the production value is this low, the content is borderline irrelevant.

None of the animation was remotely good, none of the art was good OR interesting and it all lacked technique and style, not a single one of those segments were funny or clever in the least. OH WOW HE DIED BECAUSE HE SMOKED?!?! NO WAY! That's the sort of attitude I got from this and it was just downright boring,

Yeah sure, you might have some good message in there, down smoke whatever. I don't smoke, and I don't like it when people smoke around me, but if you want to do it in yoru free time, I'm not going to say anything.

Yet those points don't even matter because the quality of work in this was borderline unwatchable. Fine if you want to get a bunch of just starting out artists together and make some overblown collab, but just because it took a long time and has upwards of 15 people, doesn't mean it's good.

Note, I don't know the actual number of authors, I had to close it by the time to credits started. It felt like more than 15, but maybe there were less.

Incredibly badass.

It wasn't clean. It wasn't pretty. But the animation was slick as hell, the music rocked it just right, and you set your scenes up nice and interesting. The story was simple, but it did what it did very well. You're characters, both villainous and heroic, we plain but engaging and well designed.

My recommendation here is to work at cleaning up your art. Line consistency. Smoother volumes. That sort of thing.

Still though top notch and very enjoyable.

I think the thing I liked most...

... was that the way the male character moved was so surreal. It was completely strange and almost frightening.

I think it'd be hard to find a bigger fan of your music on the planet. Maybe Andre, but I am absolutely in LOVE with your music. Your camera work was quite fantastic. Truly brilliant direction.

If I had one complaint it would be that some of the camera movement was rather jerky, and the cut from the tracking shot of the Man against the TV to the next scene was pretty jarring.

Very good work overall!

Strange is always nice...

...and this was certainly odd. The story was a bit jumpy, but in this case I think it was a plus. I'm sure you were inspired somewhat by David Firth on this here, and it shows.

I don't have a whole lot to say on this other than the animation and drawings themselves were fairly poor, but it was made up for by the content, which was quite amusing.

I'd go out and learn a bit more about animation itself if I were you, but you're spot on with the rest of it! You're style is certainly there, I just think you need to flesh it out a bit.

I love this!

First off, the animation, for once on NG, was actually quite good! Nice timings and stuff. Of course your stretch+squash was little amateurish, but all things considered, this was great!

Secondly, I really dug how you mixed up the angles, and did close-ups and longshots and such. The final shot was brilliant, as it zooms out rotating. A little cliche, sure, but really well excecuted.

I do have some qualms with the choice of starting with backgrounds then suddenly moving to white. I wish it was consitent one way or the other, though if you stuck with the white, I might recommend splashing in some minimalist little environmental images. Some rocks, bits of grass, and shadows coming from the warriors, to be sure. Just little pieces to make it feel complete.

Overall great attempt though, and highly entertaining. Alot better than thigns that have scored 4.00 and higher even, so be proud and keep at it. I see you going places in the future!

This was so lovely!

I'm quite impressed with this. Works of monochrome are always a treat, to be sure, and moreover, this one was simple, to the point, and utterly bizzare.

Your framerate was probably too fast for your animation; you could see your lines going berserk. Despite this though, the movements themselves were fantastic! Really quite good, to be sure.

The overall effect of this was great. The music was very suiting and the sound effects were both funny and unsettling.

Can't wait for more from you!

It is a portion to lengthen since there is a prejudice in a line. I would like to improve about sound.

Haha!

Despite the terrible art, animation, and direction, this made me laugh so damn hard. That little music loop made this totally worthwhile.

Just, please work really hard to improve your art, and animation, and mix up some camera angles man. No one wants profiles for the whole length.
